楊莉明夫人：我們正在監測人工智慧（AI）晶片出口管制和對遠端訪問計算資源的限制的最新發展。我們也在與企業溝通，瞭解這些發展對新加坡資料中心和雲服務部門的潛在影響。必要時，我們將考慮採取適當措施來緩解這些發展對新加坡企業的影響。

37 Mr Saktiandi Supaat asked the Minister for Digital Development and Information (a) whether tighter foreign export controls on AI chips and restrictions on remote access to overseas computing infrastructure will affect Singapore's data centre and cloud services sectors; (b) if so, how; and (c) what steps the Government is taking to mitigate any such impact on these sectors.

Mrs Josephine Teo : We are monitoring developments on export controls on artificial intelligence (AI) chips and restrictions on remote access to computing resources. We are also engaging companies on the potential impact, if any, to Singapore's data centre and cloud services sectors. If necessary, we will consider appropriate measures to mitigate the impact of these developments on Singapore-based companies.
