Developing Age-progressive Framework for Responsible Use of GenAI for Students and Parents across Educational Levels

49 Mr David Hoe asked the Minister for Education (a) whether the Ministry will consider developing and publishing an age-progressive framework for the responsible use of generative AI across primary, secondary and post-secondary education levels; and (b) whether guidance could also be developed and published for parents to support younger students' learning and use of AI at home.

The Ministry of Education (MOE) has provided schools with guidance on age-appropriate AI use in education in the Guide to Digital Literacy and Technological Skills.

MOE has also provided parents with resources, such as "A Parent's Guide to Generative AI tools for Learning", which can be found on Parents Gateway.
