Seoul AI Safety Commitment
Participation in the Seoul AI Safety Summit, advancing further AI safety governance commitments.
In May 2024, Singapore joined the second AI Safety Summit in Seoul and signed the Seoul AI Safety Commitment. Building on the Bletchley Declaration, the commitment goes further: safety evaluation standards for frontier AI, cooperation among AI Safety Institutes, and shared AI safety testing methodologies. Two summits in a row — Singapore continues to lock in its role as an active player in global AI governance.
