In November 2023, Singapore joined 28 signatories at the first global AI Safety Summit at Bletchley Park, UK. By signing the Bletchley Declaration, signatories committed to: identifying shared risks posed by frontier AI, taking on national responsibilities for AI safety, and strengthening international collaboration on AI safety research. The declaration places particular emphasis on potential risks from frontier AI models, including cybersecurity threats, biotechnology risks, and disinformation.
