Singapore became a founding member of GPAI in 2020. GPAI is a multi-government initiative that promotes the responsible development and use of AI through multi-stakeholder collaboration. Singapore takes part in working groups on Responsible AI, Data Governance, Future of Work, and Innovation and Commercialisation. Membership reflects Singapore's commitment to international AI governance and pulls outside perspectives into domestic policymaking.
