AI in Finance

MAS's AI supervision and financial-sector adoption — risk-management guidelines, fintech and AI inside financial institutions.

As a regional financial hub, Singapore makes finance the sector where AI governance goes “high-intensity” first. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) issued Guidelines on AI Risk Management in 2025; the earlier FEAT principles (Fairness, Ethics, Accountability, Transparency), the Veritas initiative and the MindForge framework for generative AI together require financial institutions to keep explainability and accountability intact when they use AI for credit, risk and anti-money-laundering. Regulation here is often harder and more granular than the general frameworks.

This hub gathers every parliamentary and regulatory debate on AI in finance, the related guidelines and policy documents — from MAS’s risk-management requirements and institutional deployment to fintech innovation and consumer protection — so you can see how AI is put to work, under constraint, in the most regulated sector.
