Google Cloud expands AI talent hiring in Singapore

The internet giant has opened a new engineering center and hired more than 85 specialists to turn research into AI solutions for its global customers. The country's digital development and information ministry says the center will help build capabilities to ultimately deepen the business ecosystem. When companies anchor substantive engineering and product development work in Singapore, the benefit goes beyond the number of jobs created. We have a policy to not ship a model without it actually passing anti-malicious patterns. So safety and responsibility for us was from there from the beginning especially in the context of the fact that we use AI to deliver services through Gmail, maps, YouTube etc. We have to take this very very seriously.
