Detailed Notes

Released at Davos in 2019, this is Asia's first AI governance framework. Four core principles: internal governance structures, human involvement in AI-augmented decisions, operations management, and stakeholder communication. The OECD has cited it as a best practice. In January 2026 IMDA built on it with the Model AI Governance Framework for Agentic AI (see resources on this page).
